Zi Yi

Zi Yi examines and transforms discarded materials and objects through the mediums of video, photography, and installation. Wang refers to this practice as “trash history,” engaging with the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life as well as her own memories. Her first solo exhibition was held at Olympia (New York, NY, 2021). Wang's work has been reviewed in Hyperallergic.
